The first Share-A-Thon was held at the old Colonie Hill in Hauppauge in 1975. With the exception of one year, the Share-A-Thon has continued to be an annual event.
It is a day of sharing with a variety of workshops and meetings. It is usually held in October at St Joseph’s College, 155 Roe Avenue, Patchogue NY
Share-A-Thon Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. January, April, July and October the meeting will be at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 423 Griffing Ave, Riverhead, NY 11901, MAP. All other months the meeting will be held at the Cleary School for the Deaf, 301 Smithtown Boulevard, Nesconset, NY, 11767.
Share-a-thon meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every month February through November at 6:30 pm*** at the Cleary School for the Deaf. ***except April, July and October, meetings will be at 7 pm Cornell Cooperative Extension in Riverhead.
