On March 17, 2013 the Web Committee met with several committee chairs for a very successful session and a rather nice corned beef and cabbage meal prepared by the Web Chair.
Attendees have set up Suffolk General Service Email accounts and received instruction in using the county’s WebMail system. All were satisfied customers.
Also, committee chairpeople learned to post blog entries to the web. This marks a great increase in communicating among committee members and keeping members and groups who are interested posted on committee news and event management.
The information in the left pane of the committee pages can be updated on a regular basis, and soon authorized members will be able to comment on posts, effectively establishing a “group communication” method.
