Minutes of SGS Web Committee

PRESENT: John J., Chairperson; Amy, Terry, Tom C., Joanne F., Cathy B., Chris D., and Michele E.,
Previous minutes accepted.
Chair’s Report –
- Not much – Open it up to body for discussion and comments.
- Would like the “Geek Squad” to meet before the next SGS meeting. Body decided on Wednesday, April 24th at Panera Bread in Huntington Village at 6:30 PM.
- Would like to have a mailing list subscription. Amy suggested Mail Chimp. (If the number of requests stays below 2,000 it’s free.) Amy then proceeded to set the committee up on Mail Chimp.
- New Home Page – John likes Queens County layout of their website. Can we do this? Amy indicated that is what she is working toward.
Committee Comments –
Terry – Announce to the SGS body that our Original Mission has been accomplished.
Joanne is very excited about the new look coming to our Home Page!
New Business –
- Next Workshop will be either May 15th or 22nd depending on availability of SIA Office. We will be inviting Officers as well as Committee Chairs.
- John would like to know stats on website. (Number of hits.)
- Recruiting – John would like the committee to look out for people who are computer savvy and are interested in getting involved with the website; (Possibly younger A.A.s) especially when Phase III is initiated.
Our next meeting will be on May 17th, at 7 pm.
